Jens S. Group has strengthened its operations through the acquisition of Hadsten Maskinfabrik via its subsidiary, Jens S. Transmissioner A/S. Hadsten Maskinfabrik, with its well-equipped workshop and highly skilled workforce, has been a key supplier to Jens S. Denmark, specializing in the production and customization of power transmission products and special components.  This acquisition enhances Jens S.’ machining capabilities and expands its customer offering, while also adding new technical knowledge to the group.

Jens S. and Hadsten Maskinfabrik have a long-standing partnership built on close collaboration. This acquisition aligns perfectly with Jens S. long-term strategy to strengthen its value-added services, delivering even greater value to its customers by increasing the offer closer to the market.

Acquiring Hadsten Maskinfabrik brings valuable technical expertise in machining operations, many of which were previously outsourced. This addition gives us an opportunity to scale up and increase internal efficiency, while also securing in-house competence,” says Christoffer Eriksson, Managing Director of Jens S. Transmissioner A/S.

Located in Hadsten outside of Aarhus, Denmark, Hadsten Maskinfabrik has over the last 25 years built up a strong portfolio of value-added solutions, active in machining and producing specialized core power transmission products such as sprockets and pulleys.

The founder and owner of Hadsten Maskinfabrik, Keld Sörensen, who is retiring from the company, comments:” I’m glad to hand over HMF to our long-standing partner Jens S. Transmissioner, who will continue to run the business with the same dedication as always.”
